AREU Request For Proposal (RFP) for Subcontract

Conducting data collection on formative research for understanding the barriers and enablers of optimum dietary behaviors of pregnant and lactating women, children under five, and infants

 

AREU, a leading research organization in the country, conducts high-quality studies in different thematic areas, including Social Protection and Livelihood, Natural Resource Management, Humanitarian Assistance, and Economic Development. AREU is looking for an implementing partner to conduct a study covering the nutrition mechanism and data to understand and inform Social Behavioural Change Strategies. Under the direct supervision of AREU, the implementing partner will use a qualitative approach for the data collection (Interview and Focus Group Discussion) with individuals and household levels on; Infant and child feeding practices and the social and cultural factors that affect them. The geographical locations for this study are Kandahar, Herat, and Bamiyan provinces. Interested organizations – especially organizations with working experiences in health sector in Afghanistan- are requested to submit their proposals and the timeline and budget breakdown.
