AREU’s findings have impacted policy planning and implementation in Afghanistan. AREU’s researchers have traveled across the country too far off provinces to gather perspectives from local communities, which have contributed to research outputs that have been instrumental in shaping discourse on Afghanistan.

AREU’s publications not only inform policies but also the research conducted by students, academics, and independent researchers among many others. AREU has garnered international attention and led to the organization receiving awards and recognition as a leading think tank across many fields.
