political activism in Afghanistan high schools

On 1st December, 2015, AREU organized a round table discussion with stakeholders on the topic of political activism in Afghanistan high schools. The discussion hosted by the Sweden Embassy in Kabul was based on a recent AREU research paper titled: “Reaching Boiling Point: High School Activism in Afghanistan.” A presentation of the paper was followed by an open discussion on the main findings of the paper, as well as their broader implications. A number of participants, including representatives from the government of Afghanistan, civil society, donor community and the foreign embassies based in Kabul were present and contributed to a lively discussion.
