On 25th and 26th of November, 2015, AREU organised a tow-day workshop on Land Governance in Afghanistan as part of the Land Governance Assessment Framework project (LGAF), funded by the World Bank. The workshop served as a platform for a detailed presentation of the project findings and an attempt to create a shared understanding of the inter-linkages between the various themes related to land governance. The participants, from Government of Afghanistan, civil society groups, academia, and relevant NGOs, contributed to the development of Policy Matrix, which will serve as a roadmap for the future possible steps in the field of land governance.
